Hi Supportteam
I'm doing a bit of testing with the UA-SDK-server-boundle for .Net (v 2.6.1).
I'm using the "TMC" companion nodeset.
In this nodeset there is a complex DataType that has a "Variant" variable inside it (the name of the type is "DataSetEntryType").
I'm trying to read this property with UaExpert.
Using the "Attributes" panel the variable is visible correctly; instead in the "DataAccessView" panel, double clicking on the variable opens the "Edit Value" popup: inside the "Variant" value returns "null" with an "Unsupported DataType" message.
Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug in UaExpert?
Thanks!
Best regards

Re: UaExpert 1.5.0.319 problem reading "Variant"
Hello Bertuz,
currently, writing structure fields with abstract data types or type Variant is not possible using UaExpert. Please use the latest version 1.5.1, released today, for bugfixes regarding the handling of such structures. Writing such structure fields will be supported in the future.
