.NET Core Support Question

I saw from an earlier forum post that about a year ago the team was working on a version of the OPC UA SDK that will support .NET core. Has this version been released and if so which version of the .NET SDK supports .NET core?

I'm evaluating the use of the SDK for use in a C# project that must run on Linux, and so must be targeting .NET Core.

So far the only "official" information I've found on the topic is from THIS question:

We are currently working on a new version that supports .NET Core. A release date for the new version is not scheduled so far.

Do you have any update on that?

Its 2019 now. Is there any update on this? We really need .Net Core support now!

I second this. We also planned to port our application to .NET Core.
Please let us know when a release can be expected.
