Gateway DEMO Distribution

Can we distribute the demo application (we would NOT install, nor configure it) , and let customers see if it works for them and then have them purchase the license and support from you? We would bundle wit with our application as we feel it provides additional functionality that our customer base would find beneficial.

The reason I bring this up is our product operates on a controls network in which getting files on and off the server is very difficult.

We would keep the product up to date with the latest available version of your gateway product evaluation.

Hello Daniel,

generally the deployment of the UaGateway (also the DEMO edition) is not allowed. Only if you have purchased the OEM licensed edition (e.g. bound to your COM DA server) you are allowed to distribute (deploy) together with your product, typically in a combined setup procedure.

Many of our customers provide a "link" in their software that point to our website and guide the operators to the download of UaGateway. This has the advantage that you will always install the latest (and greates) edition of UaGateway.
