Hi Alisha,

You may want to look at the Dzone article What's the Difference Between Automated Testing and Manual Testing? by Whitney Donaldson. She gives examples and provides details for each of the testing types. And perhaps, the Guru99 guide and table Automation Testing Vs. Manual Testing would be helpful too.

For manual tests you can use normal language, for automated tests you need to use one of the programming languages.

I think there is a vast difference on these two. But in some cases it might be the same in result. Need to learn more to it.
