Evaluation version for other platforms available?

Post by opcgeek »

Hi,

we have evaluated the Linux version of your ANSI C based SDK on PC, which you provide in the download area of your website.
Now we want to integrate your framework in an embedded environment based on an ARM controller.

Could we get also an evaluation version for ARM based Linux systems to test it on our real system?

Thanks for your answer.
Best regards
Max

Hello Max,

the evaluation downloads of our SDKs for x86 based Windows and Linux systems are sufficient for most developers. They can get an overview of the SDK's functionality, performance and its API on their x86 machine.

Our SDKs are desigend to be easily portable to various controller platforms and operating systems by adopting the SDK's platformlayer. Our customers are already using the ANSI C based OPC UA SDK on ARM based platforms in their products.

The variety of different controllers and operating system distributions is to big to provide evaluation versions for all of their combinations.
If you are uncertain, that the SDK is running on your special system, we could generate an evaluation version for your platform. Just contact us directly (support@unifiedautomation.com) to discuss the details.
