Alarm appears as Event as well

Dear community,
I'm currently working with A&C part of OPC UA. During alarmhandling I recognized the behaviour, that the alarm appears in the "Events" and the "Alarms" tab within the "Event View" of UaExpert.
Is that correct? Is it possible to fire an alarm without a "Event" event?
