UaExpert errors on reading and getting DataType

Post by jonathang »

Dear Support Team,

We are running on OPC UA Server using Unified Automation .NET Server SDK version 2.6.1 (.NET Framework 4.7.1). We are adding new nodes including a new enumeration and new object types using code generated by UaModeler 1.6.2.

When connecting to the OPC UA Server with UaExpert 1.5.0, we now get the following errors in the log:
13:51:03.677 | General | | Reading DataTypeDescriptions failed.
13:51:03.677 | General | | Getting DataType nodes failed.
The errors occur on first login to the server.
13:51:03.044 | Server Node | localhost | Security policy: 'http://opcfoundation.org/UA/SecurityPolicy#None'
13:51:03.044 | Server Node | localhost | ApplicationUri: 'urn:test:test:test'
13:51:03.044 | Server Node | localhost | Used UserTokenType: UserName
13:51:03.677 | General | | Reading DataTypeDescriptions failed.
13:51:03.677 | General | | Getting DataType nodes failed.
13:51:03.792 | AddressSpaceModel | localhost | Registered for ModelChangeEvents
13:51:03.792 | Server Node | localhost | Connection status of server 'localhost' changed to 'Connected'.
Everything seems to be working fine. We can browse, read, and write new nodes without any problems but the errors only appeared after the new nodes were added.

What do those errors mean?
Where should we look to solve/remove them?

We are also getting error "Value of 15960 has invalid type" in UaModeler when opening the project. This error is there even when all new nodes are removed. We are not sure if this is related to the errors in UaExpert. 15960 is not used anywhere in the project.

Sincerely,

Jonathan

Hello,

Please create a support ticket with our web form. Please attach the model and the UaModeler project file. We want to use your model to reproduce the issue.
Best regards
