I have to define several similar variables in the address space. It would be quite useful to copy one instance and to modify for each variable.
Unfortunately, I don't find how to copy or duplicate a variable object. Is there a way?

UaModeler does not have a copy and paste feature like copiing with CTRL-C and pasting a node with CTRL-V. If you want to add a child to node that is similar to one of its siblings, then you can duplicate the sibling with the green '+'.
