When I subtype the BaseObjectType, add a variable in the Children section, and expand the details of the variable, I see that the Description field has two textboxes - a smaller one and a larger one. I'm assuming I can add information in this description field that would be available on the client, but what is the purpose of the two boxes? I checked the UaModeler documentation, which shows these two boxes (e.g., Modeling -> Object- and VariableTypes -> Children of a Type), but I didn't see any explanation for them.
Thanks!

Re: Variable Description has two text boxes?
These extra text boxes also appear in the DisplayName and Description in the Additional Attributes section of an ObjectType.
Anyone know what they are for?

Re: Variable Description has two text boxes?
I think, the smaller text box at the beginning should represent the LocaleId, e.g. "en-us", "de-de", ..., because the datatype of the "DisplayName" and of the "Description" is LocalizedText, please refer to the specs part 3, chapter 8.5.
But it seems, that the UaModeler does not support the LocaleId.

Re: Variable Description has two text boxes?
You are right. The first box specifies the LocalId.
