Lost TypeDefinition

Based on the Device Integration Model I made a device hierarchy myself.

Whenever I open the project the TypeDefinition of some childes of a node are empty which leads to an application crash if I try to expand such a node.
If I click on the node and click at the empty TypeDefinition field in the detail view the correct TypeDefinition appears!
