Crash while editing structured DataTypes

Post by RKM »

Hello UA-Support Team,

I am using the newest version 1.8.0 of the modeler - I just updated today from 1.7.1.
The following problem was also in 1.7.1.

I am trying to edit a custom DataType > Structure.
The structured data type consists of 3 underlying children (2 UInt32 (of which 1 optional, 1 mandatory) and 1 String). When deleting/adding one children, the following problem occurs: After pressing "OK" or safe the data type or safe the entire project, UA Modeler crashes. The changes to the data type can't be made.

Is there any workaround for this?

Thanks in advance!

Best Regards,
RKM

Hi,

We cannot reproduce the issue. We believe the crash is related to other nodes in the model, but not to the one you describe.

Please create a support ticket (https://webdav.unifiedautomation.com/support/support_form.html)
and send us the UaModeler project file and the model.
Best regards

Hi,

with aid of your project and model, we could identify the issue. As expected the issue was at differnet place in your model. The crash was related to subtypes of BaseDataType > Structure > OptionSet. The issue will be fixed in version 1.8.1 of UaModeler.
Best regards
