Dear Support team
I tried to install the latest version of UaExpert i.e. UaExpert v1.4.0
(Linux CentOS 7) in the machine having Scientific Linux 6.5 (64 bit). But it is giving the error of failed dependencies.
$rpm -ivh uaexpert-bin-centos7-x64-gcc4.8.2-v1.4.0-233.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libQtWebKit.so.4()(64bit) is needed by uaexpert-1.4.0-1.x86_64
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.14)(64bit) is needed by uaexpert-1.4.0-1.x86_64
libc.so.6(GLIBC_2.15)(64bit) is needed by uaexpert-1.4.0-1.x86_64
libstdc++.so.6(GLIBCXX_3.4.15)(64bit) is needed by uaexpert-1.4.0-1.x86_64
libxml2 >= 2.8.0 is needed by uaexpert-1.4.0-1.x86_64
My question is whether the UaExpert v1.4.0 is compatible with Scientific Linux 6.5 (x86_64). Can you suggest the way out?
Thanks
Kiran

Re: UaExpert for Scientific linux 6.5 (64 bit)
Kiran,
this is the normal behavior. The RPM package of UaExpert checks all required dependencies. Obviously some required libraries are missing. You must install such libraries in at least the given version using your standard package installer and after that the UaExpert will work.
Best Regards
