Hi,
I am using UaExpert 1.3.0.
I have a question regarding timestamps.
This is required by the OPC UA specification that the OPC UA Server sends UTC timestamp.
Timestamps displayed in Attributes windows are based on the Client UTC Offset and not the Server right ?
What happens if the OPC UA Server is an another timezone ?
All the timestamps displayed in UaExpert are then wrong ?
Is there a way to display on UaExpert the timestamp regarding the timezone of the OPC UA Server ?
Camille.

Re: Timestamp
Hello,
As you said, the timestamps used in UA are always UTC. This means that, independent of the location of the server or client, UTC timestamps are transmitted, so there will be no 'wrong' timestamps.
It is up to the client how the timestamps are displayed. UaExpert uses the local time for Source and Server timestamps; when editing a DateTime value, UTC is being used.
Best regards
