UAExpert 1.3.0 String size

Hello UaExpert,

I just installed and tested UaExpert 1.3.0.
In the CHANGELOG I saw : "Limits length of displayed strings to prevent GUI freezing"

When my Server is sending a String with a text length more than 256 characters you only display the first 256 and then "..."

I could understand it, but when I want to write on it, it will be good to enable to read the entire string value (since it currently also only write the 256 first char and also the "..." so 259 chars) or to have an option to desactivate that feature in the settings

the UaExpert is a demo client, to show the capabilities of our OPC UA SDKs.

Hello again,

this issue only applies to the attribute window. If you use the DA view for editing the value, the full string is being shown in the line edit.

We will fix this issue in the attribute window in the next version of UaExpert. As a workaround you should use the DA view for editing string values of length > 256.

Pasting strings with more than 256 characters works in both the DA view and the attribute window.
