Data Access Classic View

Post by cacamille3 »

Hello,

I am using UAExpert 1.2.2 175

Is this a feature that closing one Data Access Classic View does not trigger any DeleteSubscription Request ?

Actually the only possibility to delete a Subscription is too select all the MonitoredItems then rightClick + Remove Selected Nodes.
This will first trigger DeleteMonitoredItems Request and then a DeleteSubscriptions Request.

Regards.
Camille

This is a bit strange because then it's not anymore possible to access MonitoredItems or delete the Subscription...
Only disconnecting from the Server will delete the Subscription.

The subscription is deleted if you remove the view from the project (Project window -> Project -> Documents).

Closing the view does not remove it from the project. You can reopen the view from the project window.

It will be also cool to have a possibility to do something like :

The idea from a context sensitive menu is that you select the item you want to delete and than (right click) and delete it. So you should first select the desired "view" in the "project window" (it is below the "Documents" in the tree).

In your screenshot you have selected the "Server" which off course you can not delete, in the Documents>>Delete menu button. To remove the selected "Server" you either right klick and delete or you use the "minus" Button in the menu bar.

Wow this is really tricky.
Clicking on one document does not switch to it.
Double clicking switch to it but also open renaming...
clicking on one tab view does not highlight it on the Project documents.
So this is a bit tricky for user to know where to click to manage view...
But at least it is working so I can now delete subscriptions.
