Hello Unified Automation support team.
I would like to know what is the difference between the Events and the Alarms view in your Event View.
All the Events or Alarms from my UA Server are always in Events but never in Alarms...
Does it depends of the EventType or something else ?
And last question : Why the Severity range is [0-1000]. I didnt find something about that range in the UA specification, so is there some kinds of tradeoffs between Clients or Server or is this the official range ?
Regards.

Re: Event View
The Event view has two tabs, one for Events and one for Alarms. To explain difference between Events and Alarms is to much for this forum, but you should carefully read the "green book" and of course the OPC UA specification for more details.
When you can't see alarms in the UaExpert, your server is either doing something wrong, or it is maybe not even sending any alarms. All our UA SDKs (C, C++ and .NET plus the Java) are capable of doing both, events AND alarms.
Best Regards

Re: Event View
I finally got it.
I was not sending the ConditionType in PublishResponse for my Alarms so that they were interpreted as Events...
