UA Expert Displaying the UTC time

Is there a way we can get UA Expert to display the actual UTC time that an node currently is sending?

Hi,

in OPC UA the timestamps (on the wire) are standardized to always be send in UTC, there is no doubts, it is always UTC. In fact there is only one time on the planet, and that is UTC, everything else is just a local interpretation thereof. UaExpert being the receiver is (like all other UA Clients) allowed to interpret/show local time. That is normal and expected behavior, and in the resposibility of the client (the consumer of the data) to either keep the UTC or display (for convenience reason) the local time to the user.

Check out: Menu->Settings->Configure UaExpert ...->ShowUTCTimestamps which allowes to configure UaExpert to show Timestamp original UTC as received.

I tried to follow the instructions and set that setting however the "ShowUTCTimestamps" is not an option in the menu here.

Is there a way to add it or another way to configure this?

Hi,

type in the filter "UTC" and it will show up. It is part of the general settings.
