Show Elements of ExtensionObject directly in DataAccessView

Post by Patrick1337 »

Hello all,
I would like to display the sub-elements of an ExtensionObject directly in the DataAccessView without the need to "Double click to display value".
For example specify the node id of the extensionobject with an offset or similar.
Is this possible in UaExpert?
I know that some building control systems offer possibilities here (e.g. zenon from copa data).

Best regards
Patrick

Hi,

the idea of the DA-View is to show a list of (hundrets) of nodes of different servers including value, timestamp, status, typically scalar or (one-dimensional array of scalar). The extension object and even arrays of ojects can not be displayed in a sinlge row. This is not a question of "offest", bacause could be multidimensional. Therefore drilling into the object (level by level) and finding type by type (including some generic display representation for such type) is the only possibility for displaying extension objects. A more specialized (but less generic) client may find a more useful graphical representation for some specific complex structured type.
