Dear support team,

unfortunately I'm dealing with the following issue right now.
I set up the sample server of the OPC UA Java SDK 1.3.0 according to its enclosed documentation and it starts up fine without any errors reported. In the Configuration Tool of UaGateway I'm adding the running server using no encryption and the default username and password of the sample server (opcua/opcua). When I then attempt to connect to the server, the Configuration Tool crashes without any further information. The console output of the server looks like this:

However, it is possible to connect to the UA Demo Server with UaGateway, so I assume the Gateway installation and configuration was successful. Also the SDK Java sampel server seems to be working on my machine, as I am able to connect with the SDK java sample client. Any ideas or hints what the cause of this problem might be are highly appreciated!

thank you for reporting this issue. We could reproduce and fix it. An update of the UaGateway will be available soon.

Please find new UaGateway Version 1.2.2 B181 in the download area. This version resolves the reported issue.

UPDATE: Problem fixed, another reinstallation did the job! Thanks again :-)


Unfortunately this bugfix release didn't resolve my problem at all, the above described issue stays exactly the same... Is there any workaround to avoid for the server to return an array size of -1 when adding monitoring items, as this seemed to be the cause according to the change log?
