OPC UA ANSI C Demo Server Historical Data Simulation

The OPC UA ANSI C Demo Server v1.7.0 (Windows) download indicates it includes simulated Data, Events, Methods and Historical Data for testing. Where is the historical data? Which nodes have historical data? Various screenshots in documentation show the "DoubleWithHistory" contains historical data that can be trended. However, in the C Demo Server, that node has Historizing = False. We've also tried teh UaCPPServer.

Hello,

the historical simulation is switched of by default to not create unwanted memory and file storage space. However you can use the UA-Methods "StartLogging" to start the simulation. The "Historizing" attribute will turn to "true" when data logging was started. When you stop the logging the attribute will switch back to "false" again, indicating that currently no data is historized for this node.
