Hello, support team:
As IPv6 technology become more and more important in the industry information system, I wonder if it is already supported in the C++ SDK?
If yes, do we need to call some specific interface to switch it from IPv4 to IPv6, or the SDK can adapt it automatically?
Thanks.
Does the C++ SDK support IP V6

Re:Does the C++ SDK support IP V6
Hi,
Yes, the C++ SDK supports IPv6. The IPv6 support is part of the stack platform layers provided by Unified Automation. Therefore it is supported for the ANSI C and the C++ SDKs.
There is nothing special you need to do. At least for current Windows and Linux the support is should just work. For older versions of the operating system there may be limitations or special cases but then the limitation is coming from the operating system.
