We have a number of OpenVMS Itanium servers running version 8.4 where we have Java 6 installed. We are interested in the possibility of developing OPC application clients that will run on OpenVMS. I am assuming that it would need to be UA.

Does anyone have any experience and success with creating Java OPC client applications running on Itanium OpenVMS version 8.4?

We have a customer that is using the C++ SDK (Client and Server) on OpenVMS. We have no experience with the JAVA SDK on OpenVMS.
