Will a OPC UA Server look like any other OPC Server running on Windows so that any OPC Client can connect? Or would it be required that clients be OPC UA as well? Where can I go to get basic questions like this answered?

Re: OPC UA Possabilites
OPC UA is a different protocol than classic OPC which is based on MS DCOM.
So the short answer is, no.
But for this kind of migration there exists the UaGateway.
This can translate Classic OPC to OPC UA and vice versa.
