Siemens unified panel

Post by Linux21 »

Hello everyone,

I am creating a small project with a Siemens plc, its a S7 1500, and a hmi with the Modell name mtp basic unified.

I have created a first screen. This screen contains a button and an output field. There you can see the current Speed of a drive. But i did not see an option where i can select a variable at the properties of my output field. How can i connect my output field with to a variable? There is a field with the name process value, but i only can type something inside, there is no dropdown or similiar which provides the variables of my hmi Variable table.

Regards

Hi,

i can not see any relation to our company nor to our products. Most probably it does not even have anything to do with OPC UA. This is not the correct forum. Please contact your Siemens support and ask for help. They will help you with product manual and many examples how to use their products.
Best regards

Hi,

Unified Automation is a company selling OPC UA software libraries and tools for integrating the industrial communication standard OPC UA.

The "Siemens S7 mtp basic unified" is a touch panel with integrated HMI/PLC function based on WinCC, manufacturer is "Siemens", hence you need to contact Siemens for support.
