I would like to create an instance model that gets loaded at run time by a server with GUID NodeIds. The dropdown box next to NodeId implies that the possibility exists, however the dropdown is always grayed out.
Is there a way to Add Nodes with a GUID NodeId in UaModeler?

Re: Guid NodeId for instances
Hello,
You can set GUID NodeIds for isnatnces in UaModeler. You have to enable this feature in the settings dialog before. See http://documentation.unified-automation ... ditnodeids]Documentation.
For Type nodes and the children only numeric NodeIds are supported by UaModeler.
Note: In most use cases it does not make sense to use GUID NodeIds for Type nodes or for static nodes (in UaModeler you are defining static nodes which are known at design time). But you can use GUID NodeIds if you do have good reasons to use them.
Best regards
